I ordered the crabmeat as I was born and raised in Maryland and there is no crabmeat like Maryland’s. I currently live in TN. I removed the crabmeat from the cooler and placed it in a pan and iced it down. I left it in my refrigerator for a few days, iced down. On the day I used it there was so much liquid in the crabmeat that you couldn’t even make a decent crab cake with it. I ended up using the 2nd container for imperial which worked out a little better. As much as I love MD crabmeat I don’t think I will order again as it’s too expensive to get and not be able to make the crab cakes I wanted so much.

i ordered this crab as i cannot get maryland crab here in new york.it was so good and so fresh.it was packaged so well and arrived still frozen.it was worth every penny and i will be ordering this again.
