Kent Island Crab Cakes takes enormous pride in every gourmet product we produce and strive to have them delivered in the best possible condition on the requested delivery date. We ship our products anywhere in the Continental United States including Alaska and Hawaii. To ensure proper delivery of Kent Island Crab Cakes products we require a complete street address for both the bill to and ship to address including a valid phone number. All orders ship UPS or Fed Ex so we are unable to ship to P.O. Boxes, APO Boxes or outside of the United States. A valid phone number is required so that Kent Island Crab Cakes can contact you should we have any questions about your order and the Carrier has a point of contact as required for perishable products.

Due to increasing rates from UPS the shipping at checkout are our live rates published from UPS at the time of your order. We try our best to provide the most competitive price to ensure delivery to you. 

Kent Island Crab Cakes ships Monday through Wednesday for orders received by noon EST. For all other special requests please call 1-410-604-0043. 

While there are many things, we do to mitigate the risk of shipping food around the country, there are unfortunately some things outside of our control like the weather and transit delays once the package is in the hands of UPS. As such, the shipping guidelines published on this website are not guarantees of a shipping or arrival date. 

Once an order leaves our facility, Kent Island Crab Cakes is not accountable as it is no longer in our control and the responsibility is completely on the carrier. 

Kent Island Crab Cakes is unable to guarantee time of delivery, as this is all subject to the local carrier. Most carriers will deliver packages anytime between 8am-8pm. If you are placing an order for a time-sensitive event, we recommend placing your order early and schedule it to arrive 1-2 days before your event or upgrade service to Next Day Air Early am. Our products can be kept frozen upon arrival for up to 1 year. 

In some instances due to weather, high package volume (especially during holidays) or other uncontrollable events, we may have your product arrive earlier or later than requested due to production schedules and ingredient availability as well as the directives given by Ups and Fed Ex based on shipping volumes to ensure that it arrives in good condition. 

Kent Island Crab Cakes is not responsible for delays in transit caused by high package volume, weather, mechanical error, strikes, natural disasters, terrorism safety control, local carrier miss scans or inaccurate/incomplete shipping information. We are also not responsible for any damage caused by the carrier in transit. 

We do not require a signature for the release of any shipment unless at the request of the purchaser at an additional $10 charge. Leaving a package at an address is ultimately up to the complete discretion of the individual delivery company/person and is therefore entirely outside our control. We are not responsible for packages that require a signature but are not delivered because no one is home to sign. If you are having products shipped as gifts, please make certain the receiving party is aware of the order and the shipment is on the way. We are not responsible for contacting the recipient for gift packages. No refunds given for shipments where the recipient is unavailable/unaware to accept/receive the shipment. 

Customers are responsible for checking that all shipping information is correct before submitting an order as well as in their order confirmation email. We are not responsible for replacement or refund should you provide incomplete or inaccurate ship to address information. If you need to modify the delivery address once your order has shipped, a $30 address change processing fee will apply to your order. Once an address modification is requested, carriers require one business day to process the change, which may delay the package. Kent Island Crab Cakes is not responsible for delays in transit caused by address modification.
